To support the successful execution of a
new industrial project in Ploiești
, which includes implementing a
Beads process (packing/making)
, expanding warehouse facilities, and integrating utilities, we are looking for an experienced
HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) Specialist
. This role is critical to ensuring workforce safety, regulatory compliance, and effective environmental management throughout the construction phase.

Freelancers will be given priority for this position.
Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure full compliance with local and national health, safety, and environmental regulations, performing regular site inspections and enforcing corrective measures.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor HSE plans and policies to safeguard all personnel involved in the project.
  • Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards, protecting workers, equipment, and the environment.
  • Deliver ongoing safety training for staff, subcontractors, and visitors, ensuring adherence to HSE protocols and emergency procedures.
  • Monitor environmental performance, ensuring compliance with guidelines and minimizing ecological impact.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, prepare detailed reports, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to maintain HSE best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an HSE Specialist in construction or industrial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to promote a safety-first culture.
  • Solid risk assessment capabilities and ability to implement effective safety measures.
  • NEBOSH or equivalent HSE certification is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field is preferred.
