Group Leader Environment & Management Systems

) to oversee and enhance environmental protection programs and management systems within a leading tire manufacturing company. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in
Environmental Management
,
Sustainability Coordination
, or
Environmental Compliance
, who are passionate about driving ISO compliance, environmental risk assessments, and waste management best practices. You will lead a dedicated team, coordinate audits, and ensure adherence to international standards, while enjoying a collaborative, international work environment with professional development opportunities.

  • Based in Timișoara, Romania (relocation bonus for non-Timișoara residents)

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of environmental management systems within the tire manufacturing sector
  • Conduct and oversee environmental aspect and risk assessments
  • Coordinate and perform internal audits (ISO 14001, ISO and ensure audit readiness
  • Ensure compliance with applicable environmental laws, regulations, and corporate standards
  • Oversee waste management processes and drive sustainability initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate environmental management into operations
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and training to team members and stakeholders

Qualifications

  • University degree in engineering, chemistry, or natural sciences
  • 3–5 years of experience in environmental protection or environmental management
  • Experience as an internal auditor (audit preparation, execution, and follow-up)
  • Proven experience in environmental aspect risk assessment
  • ISO 14001 certification required; ISO 45001 and Standard 19011 certifications are an advantage
  • Waste management diploma is a plus
  • English language skills at minimum B2 level
  • Leadership experience
