About the Role:

We are seeking an AI Asset Solution Architect to contribute to the definition and governance of our group-wide AI architecture and asset strategy. The role involves designing robust, scalable, and reusable AI solutions while supporting the development of an innovative AI assets suite. This position requires close collaboration with technical leaders and domain experts to ensure alignment, compliance, and excellence across our industrial ecosystem.

A typical day might include the following:

• Support the Lead AI Architect in setting up technical governance regarding the technologies and programming languages used across the organization to ensure consistency and quality of AI and software solutions developed.
• Develop and implement a make/team/buy strategy in collaboration with the Lead AI Architect and the CTO.
• Collaboration and Support for AI Assets Architecture Vision:
• Work closely with the Lead AI Architect to contribute to defining the vision for an innovative AI Assets toolbox/suite for the group.
• Participate in updating the associated roadmap to capitalize on this AI assets suite as use cases evolve.
• Ensure that the AI architecture of the Assets under your responsibility is robust, scalable, and easily reusable.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and advances in AI technologies and methodologies.
• Encourage the adoption of cutting-edge AI techniques and tools to maintain a competitive advantage for the organization.
• Guide team members fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
• Present AI solutions and architectures to stakeholders, ensuring they understand potential impacts and benefits.
• Work closely with the team of flight experts and other stakeholders to build a trusted partnership relationship.
• Travels to France - 1/month in the first 6 months.

To ensure success in this role, you need the following experience and skills:

• You hold a master's degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• You have at least 3 years of experience in a solution architect role within complex industrial domains.
• You are familiar with Cloud platforms and services (Azure, GCP, AWS) as well as on-premises solutions (Azure
• Stack Hub, Dell) for building and running software in general.
• You master architectures based on managed cloud services, IaaS services, or containers (Kubernetes, Docker).
• You can design, deploy, and maintain these architectures.
• You have a strong knowledge of and experience with software components commonly used in AI and data domains.
• You have demonstrated your ability to manage continuous integration and deployment of reusable software components or assets using CI/CD tools.
• You apply best security practices for cloud, on-premises, and containerized environments (OWASP, ANSSI, etc.).
• You understand compliance and regulatory considerations specific to AI and the defense sector (AI Act, export control, etc.).
• You possess excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
• You have a highly innovative mindset with a strong focus on practical and scalable solutions.
• You are a strong leader capable of inspiring and motivating a high-performing team of architects.
• You have the aptitude to resolve complex problems involving stakeholders with divergent interests and multiple constraints (budget, timelines, security requirements, regulatory requirements, trade compliance, etc.).
• You know how to be pragmatic and propose transitional architectures to manage short-term challenges alongside medium term and long-term goals.
• You master several co-engineering techniques and can apply Lean Management and Agile principles to team management.
• English – mandatory.
• French – would be a plus.
