The Role
This position involves working with and being part of a cross-skilled Web, Android and iOS development team and will have regular contact with teams looking after other aspects of FanDuel products & tools.

Key Responsibilities / Duties

• Develop, test, and maintain advanced frontend features using React and , focusing on high-performance interfaces suitable for streaming content.
• Ensuring that all frontend functionalities perform as expected across different platforms and devices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including backend developers and system architects, to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of streaming technologies within the gambling system.
• Enhance user experience by identifying and resolving frontend-specific issues, with a special focus on streaming performance and stability.
• Ensure high code quality through continuous improvement, robust unit tests, and participating in code reviews, using various test frameworks to maintain a reliable codebase.
• Actively participate in the company's technology forum, contributing to architectural decision records (ADRs) and proposing new solutions to technical challenges.
• Effective communication with team and stakeholders, assertively addressing feedback and providing updates.
• Demonstrate leadership and ownership by exercising critical thinking, empathy towards users, and resilience in overcoming setbacks, while managing time effectively to meet project deadlines.
• Employ problem-solving skills to identify issues, evaluate solutions, and make informed decisions, fostering a proactive approach to project challenges.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on frontend technologies and streaming solutions.
• Proficient in React and , with a solid understanding of the challenges related to developing streaming applications.
• Strong experience with TypeScript and front-end development tools.
• Demonstrated experience with Jest or Mocha and other testing frameworks such as Playwright or Puppeteer.
• Experience in writing unit tests; familiarity with TDD is a bonus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with GraphQL, PostgreSQL, and AWS.
• Experience with streaming technologies and frameworks (e.g., WebRTC, HLS, or similar).
• Knowledge of backend development using NestJS and SQL
