What you will do:

  • Design and develop micro-services architecture internal application used for automatic collection and deployment of simulation assets and provide a means to catalogue simulation models for a given system and provide the infrastructure to connect them together in a single runtime event.
  • Skilled in Software Engineering processes (requirements, development, validation, support)
  • Experience with Java-based microservices / Service-Oriented Architecture concepts in operational contexts
  • Experience with Java backend development and REST API
  • Main mandatory languages and technologies: Java 8 / 21, PostgreSQL, Redis, OpenAPI, Rabbit MQ or similar messaging queues
  • Operational experience in Web SW Development with React and / or Angular
  • Scrum Agile methodology

Nice to have:

  • Experience with artifact repositories (Nexus, Artifactory)
  • Experience with code quality and analysis tools (SonarQube)
  • Deployment: Docker, Kubernetes, Quarkus containers
  • Experience with Continuous Integration tools: Atlassian stack (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo)
  • Experience in working on cloud platforms like MS Azure or local infrastructure with OpenStack

Overall Technical activities / description of requirements

  • Understand context and customer needs and write/adapt application requirements. Document functionalities and technical details.
  • Main driver of the architectural, design and development activities
  • Develop and integrate backend and frontend features according to plan
  • Contribute to and support the test, verification and validation processes for each application release
  • Perform demo presentations and training sessions for all interested stakeholders
  • Awareness/experience on Agile methodologies.
  • Negotiate with stakeholders, estimate effort and propose technical solutions
