We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Designer to join our team on an unannounced AAA game. The primary focus of this role is to implement game user interface via visual scripting using Electronic Arts' Frostbite engine and tools. The ideal candidate will have a foundation in software engineering fundamentals, attention to detail in implementation and delivery, and strong communication and collaboration skills.

This is a full-time and 100% remote position, working with an international team on AAA games.

Responsibilities:

  • Create functional UI elements within the Frostbite editor, utilizing the entity component system (similar to Unity's interface and workflow).
  • Write maintainable, high-quality code using Frostbite's visual scripting language (similar to Unreal Engine's Blueprint) to implement user interface logic and ensure seamless data integration with backend systems.
  • Work with Design, Engineering and Project Leadership to review UI feature designs, assess scope, and estimate the development of new features.
  • Deliver UI features at a high-quality with close attention to visual detail.
  • Collaborate closely with other technical designers and engineers at Endava and our client's development team.
