Job role
The procurement professional negotiations for IT & NON IT categories, including but not limited to IT (Hardware, Software), Business Services, Insurance Goods and Professional Services to secure advantageous terms and conditions. He / she develops and coordinates commercial negotiations with suppliers that are supportive and aligned with business objectives while striving to build long term and reliable partnerships.
What You Will Do
- Run Supplier evaluations (RFIs) & Request for Proposals (RFPs); Documentation of selection rational; Process (outsourcing) contracts ensuring optimal turn-around-times; achieve optimal results in terms of Quality - Service - Technology – Price
- Defining pricing targets based on market analysis and benchmarks in alignment with the business unit
- Strive for optimization of specifications and drive standardization
- Preparation of market research overviews and consultation of the business units regarding market trends, supplier landscape incl. selecting and implementing concepts to identify alternative supply channels or standardization options
- Pro-actively address quality, performance and cost issues (Relationship Management & Supplier Management)
- Alignment with the business stakeholders regarding demand requirements and analysis of bundling potential
- General consulting of business units and Allianz entities relating to strategic and questions to achieve the best sourcing strategies and gain best value for money
- Strategic spend analysis of the national and international procurement market as well as benchmarking considering "best practice" and "total cost of ownership" approaches
- Understand and advocate use of procurement tools and processes as well as ensure compliance to internal policies, all legal requirements and the buying process
What You Bring
- Higher education degree in a technical or business field or comparable discipline
- Several years (3-5 years) of work experience in a relevant area, involving project management, strategic procurement and others
- Sound negotiations skills combined with contractual knowledge are a matter of course for you
You have
- Be highly adaptable to a dynamic environment with self-starter attitude
- Ability to prioritize and work independently on multiple activities at the same time
- Good communication and customer orientation, as well as supplier-relationship-management skills
- English business fluent & French intermediate to business fluent
- You are proficient in the common MS-Office programs as well as different procurement tools
