Enereco International is hiring a
Senior Civil Engineer
for a full-time hybrid role based in Bucharest, Romania.

This role involves the structural and civil engineering design of Oil & Gas facilities. The engineer will be responsible for preparing calculations, execution drawings, technical reports, and will coordinate with internal teams and subcontractors, taking ownership of technical decisions.

Senior Civil Engineer

Main Task:

  • Design of foundations, support structures, and civil/structural facilities in Oil & Gas Plants
  • Design of reinforced concrete foundations (technical solution selection, calculation reports, execution drawings)
  • Design of steel structures (pipe racks, platforms, walkways, pump houses, guard houses, etc.)
  • Preparation of bill of quantities and material take-offs
  • Drafting with AutoCAD (civil works layout, retaining structures, road works design, drainage layout, etc.)
  • Preparation of technical and assessment reports
  • Project team coordination and mentoring of junior engineers
  • Any additional technical or project-related activities assigned by the Civil Department Leader

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in structural design within the Oil & Gas industry
  • Proficient in SAP2000, STAAD, Robot, Excel, Word, AutoCAD, Tekla; knowledge of AVEVA E3D is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey and handle information;
  • Strong technical coordination within the team and with subcontracted partners
  • Ownership of technical decisions, and capability to defend design solutions to clients or in peer reviews
  • English language – very good to excellent (additional languages are a plus)
  • Proactivity, results-oriented mindset, pragmatism, and strong team spirit
  • Visa permit to work in Romania.
