is looking for an
Operations Director
for its client, a global company specializing in production and distribution of industrial equipment and solutions.

Position overview:

The
Operations Director
will be responsible for the Romanian subsidiary, with a focus on local operations and business development.

A successful Operations Director will have:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, economics, or a related discipline preferred.

Background: several years of work experience in a comparable position.

Fluent in English (mandatory); knowledge of German is an advantage.

Global business mind set with several years of leadership experience in multinational companies.

Expertise in financial management, including P&L oversight, KPI monitoring, and management tools.

Willingness to travel.

Ability to develop both high-level and detailed plans aimed at maximizing efficiency and optimizing resources.

Skilled in conducting thorough evaluations to enable well-informed and predictable decisions.

Your core priorities will be to:

Management of the Romanian subsidiary with focus on Operations.

Coordinate and supervise cross-functional activities to achieve organizational objectives.

Leadership, development, coaching and motivating of employees.

Close cooperation with the headquarters.

Manage infrastructure or related projects, either as a Contractor or as a Supplier to the Contractor.

Develop and adjust operational plans, sales forecasts, and financial projections.

Identify legal and financial risks and implement measures to minimize exposure.

Prepare regular reports to headquarters, covering sales, financial performance, and other key metrics.

Develop and manage the annual budget in alignment with company objectives.
