We are seeking a talented
Senior Power BI Engineer
to lead and manage the migration of business intelligence content from legacy systems to Power BI.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Power BI development, advanced semantic modeling, and creating interactive dashboards, coupled with expertise in DAX, SQL, and ETL processes to ensure seamless data integration and actionable insights.

Responsibilities

  • Migrate business intelligence content from legacy platforms to Power BI
  • Design and develop advanced semantic data models to support reporting and analytics
  • Utilize DAX to create and optimize complex calculations and measures
  • Integrate data from various sources through SQL and ETL pipelines
  • Build interactive dashboards and comprehensive reports to support decision-making
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored BI solutions
  • Optimize Power BI reports for better performance and scalability
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security throughout reporting solutions
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analytics to drive business outcomes
  • Establish best practices for Power BI workflows, including ETL processes and governance
  • Maintain and troubleshoot existing Power BI solutions when required

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working with data modeling, visualization, or analytics
  • Expertise in Power BI, including advanced report building and semantic modeling
  • Proficiency in DAX, SQL, and understanding of ETL concepts
  • Background in developing business intelligence solutions across diverse industries
  • Capability to handle large-scale data sets and complex data integrations
  • Strong understanding of BI principles, KPIs, and data-driven decision-making
  • Competency in collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver successful projects
  • Qualifications in problem-solving and optimization of BI environments

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with integrating Power BI into advanced environments like cloud platforms or embedded applications
  • Understanding of machine learning concepts or predictive analytics methods
  • Experience working with multiple ETL tools or data orchestration platforms
  • Showcase of successful Power BI implementations in client-facing roles
