Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate Marketing Director to spearhead all of our marketing efforts, and lead the marketing team. This includes increasing brand awareness, user acquisition and conversion. The role includes oversite of the brand, brand communications and digital marketing activities, amplifying our presence across multiple channels. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of brand and digital marketing strategies along with management skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a cohesive marketing plan to increase brand and product awareness; growing engagement, conversions and ultimately, our userbase
- Devise strategies for for the marketing team, including Digital, Content, Communications and Creative, setting current and long-term goals for internal teams
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights. Creating engaging content based on these insights, that may be used for both B2C and B2B promotion
- Ensure our brand message is strong and consistent across all channels and marketing efforts (e.g. events, email campaigns, web pages and promotional material)
- Analyze consumer behavior and determine customer personas, and deliver campaigns that drive increasing engagement and conversion on a premium subscription model
- Develop personalized email marketing strategies and user journeys based on user preference
- Develop and implement growth strategies for both SEO and SEM activities
- Guide paid efforts across all channels, balancing growth, ad spend and ROAS
- 6+ years as VP or Director of marketing in an online B2C company
- Experience in user acquisition and growth marketing
- Demonstrable experience designing and implementing successful marketing campaigns
- Experience in Paid Search, Affiliate and SEO
- Familiarity with acquisition analysis and A/B testing
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
- Strong leadership skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Creative mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Experience in the startup or venture capital space is a plus
- Excellent English proficiency level
