About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer to design, build, and scale enterprise-grade Copilot solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio and the Power Platform. In this role, you will act as a fusion developer and technical lead, bridging low-code capabilities with pro-code extensibility, secure integrations, and governance best practices. You will play a key role in shaping Copilot strategy, enabling internal makers, and ensuring solutions are secure, performant, and production-ready.
What You'll DoDesign, build, and maintain Agents in Copilot Studio (custom and generative topics, trigger phrases, dialog flows, fallback and human handoff scenarios)Integrate Copilots with Microsoft 365 and enterprise data sources (SharePoint, Dataverse, Databricks, ServiceNow, Confluence, Azure functions)Architect and implement Power Platform solutions (Power Automate flows, custom connectors)Act as a technical advisor and mentor for internal makers and teamsGather and formalize requirements, translate business needs into Copilot use cases, and maintain clear technical documentationDefine and enforce governance and security standards (environment strategy, Role-Based Access Control, Data Loss Prevention policies, compliance requirements)Analyze and improve Copilot performance using analytics and conversation insights (unsuccessful queries, fallback rates, scenario optimization)Leverage existing APIs and services to extend Copilot and Power Platform solutions when neededWhat You'll Bring
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio and Power PlatformStrong understanding of LLMs and prompt engineering (system vs user prompts, context management, reducing hallucinations)Solid knowledge of Microsoft 365 architecture, permissions, and security modelsStrong analytical mindset with the ability to iteratively improve conversational scenariosExcellent communication skills and ability to document technical solutions clearlyExperience with Microsoft FoundryExperience integrating Copilot Studio and Power Platform solutions with external systems using REST APIs and Azure Functions (authentication, parameters, JSON payloads)Experience with Power Platform governance, environments, and complianceFamiliarity with Copilot deployment best practices, integrations, and enterprise rollout patternsBonus Skills
Backend engineering or platform developmentML/Data Science, model fine-tuning, or custom LLM trainingKubernetesPython/.NET development experienceWhat You'll Get
