Specialist in Robot-Assisted Minimally Invasive Procedures

Regina Maria is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Urology Surgeon with expertise in robot-assisted surgery using the da Vinci Xi robotic platform. The ideal candidate will have advanced surgical skills, a strong background in minimally invasive urologic procedures, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Urology Surgeon (Full Time, Romania)

Position

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of urological surgeries, with a core focus on robot-assisted procedures (prostatectomy, nephrectomy, cystectomy, reconstructive urology, etc.) using the cutting-edge da Vinci Xi platform.
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with urological conditions, ensuring comprehensive and personalized care.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including anesthesiologists, oncologists, radiologists, and nursing staff, to provide coordinated treatment plans.
  • Participate in teaching, mentoring, and training medical staff, residents, and fellows in robotic-assisted surgery.
  • Contribute to ongoing research, innovation, and quality improvement initiatives in the field of robotic urology.
  • Ensure all surgical protocols and patient safety standards are met, maintaining accurate medical records and full compliance with hospital policies and regulations.

Profile

  • You must possess a medical degree (MD/DO or equivalent) and be board certified/eligible in Urology. Demonstrated proficiency and case experience with the da Vinci Xi surgical system is essential.
  • Full relocation to Romania is required; partial relocation or commuting from abroad is not possible.
  • You hold a valid medical license (or eligibility for licensing) in Romania. Candidates from the EU are eligible for rapid licensing. Candidates from outside the EU will require additional verification.
