Position overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and meticulous Manual Tester to join our quality assurance team. As a Manual Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify, document, and report defects, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of excellence.

Responsibilities within our team include:

  • Conduct thorough manual testing of software applications to identify defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and specifications
  • Collaborate with software developers, product owners, and project managers to understand application functionality and testing requirements
  • Document and track defects using appropriate tools, clearly describing issues and providing necessary steps to replicate them
  • Participate in test planning, estimation, and prioritization discussions to ensure timely and effective testing of software releases
  • Work closely with the automation testing team to identify test cases suitable for automation and provide input on test automation strategy
  • Assist in the continuous improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and best practices
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in manual testing techniques and tools.

Facing the challenges of the role require:

  • Previous experience as a Manual Tester or Quality Assurance Analyst in software testing
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, testing techniques and best practices
  • Proficiency in using test case management tools and defect-tracking systems (e.g: Jira)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as within a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing project requirements and priorities.

Could bring additional value:

  • ISTQB or other relevant certifications
  • Previous experience in online casinos testing.
