Balance Sheet Reconciliation Specialist – Bucharest (Danube Region)
We are looking for a meticulous and collaborative
Balance Sheet Reconciliation
Specialist
to join our Finance team in
Bucharest
,
supporting our
Danube Region
operations. In this role, you'll be responsible for
preparing, reviewing, and analysing both simple and complex account
reconciliations across balance sheet categories. You'll work closely with
Product Control, Logistics, Front Office, and other support functions, helping
to ensure the integrity of our financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
§ Reconcile and analyze balance sheet accounts to ensure
accuracy and completeness
§ Collaborate closely with Product Control and the
broader Finance team to investigate and resolve discrepancies
§ Prepare monthly balance sheet reports for senior
management review
§ Support internal and external audits by preparing
relevant documentation and responding to auditor queries
§ Contribute to the development of accounting policies,
controls, and best practices
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
§ At least 5 years experience in Financial Control,
Accounting, or related fields
§ At least 2 years of previous experience in Agri Business
§ Expertise in BS analysis and reconciliation within various ERPs
§ English spoken and written
§ Familiarity with month-end closing processes
§ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent
§ Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and a rigorous control focus
§ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
§ Experience working across cross-functional and cross-border teams
§ Knowledge of the commodity trading industry is a plus
