Role Overview
The Head of Presales is responsible for leading the presales function, ensuring technical and business alignment between customer requirements and company solutions in Romania. This role involves managing a team of presales consultants, developing strategies to support sales growth, and delivering compelling solution presentations to prospective clients for Romanian market.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
Define and execute the presales strategy aligned with company objectives.
Lead, mentor, and develop the presales team to ensure high performance and technical excellence.
Sales Support
Collaborate with sales teams to understand client needs and design tailored solutions.
Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept engagements.
Solution Design
Translate business requirements into technical solutions that showcase value and ROI.
Ensure proposals are accurate, competitive, and aligned with customer expectations.
Stakeholder Management
Act as a trusted advisor to partners and clients during the sales cycle.
Work closely with product management and delivery teams to ensure feasibility and innovation.
Active cooperation with marketing in the promotion of Exclusive Networks brands
Participation in the search and selection of new vendors for the portfolio.
Developing and maintaining positive relationships with vendors and partners
Performance & Reporting
Track presales activities and provide regular reports on success metrics.
Continuously improve processes, tools, and methodologies for presales effectiveness.
Qualifications & Skills
Previous experience in team management
Proven experience in presales leadership within cybersecurity, networking & Cloud
Strong technical background combined with excellent business acumen.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
Experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.
Exclusive Networks mandatory technical skills vendors: Fortinet, F5, CrowdStrike, Red Hat, Extreme Networks (or similar)
Nice to have: Thales, , Tenable, Proofpoint, Infoblox, Gigamon, Nozomi
Preferred Experience
Minimum Fortinet NSE4 certification.
At least 5 years of professional experience in networking and/ or Cybersecurity.
At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Fortinet solutions or similar vendors
Strong TCP/IP networking knowledge at a CCNA-equivalent level (CCNP-level knowledge is considered an advantage).
Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Excellent communication abilities, with a robust written and verbal skill set.
Proven technical experience in network architecture, design, and implementation, including routing, switching, and security.
Preferred/Considered a plus:
Advanced TCP/IP knowledge equivalent to CCNP level.
Experience or certifications with other products within the Fortinet or similar portfolio.
