About Flutter UKI

Flutter UK & Ireland are the UKI region of Flutter Entertainment. What you are going to do: 

We are looking for a Mid-Level Full Stack Developer to join our team and help build high-quality, scalable web applications. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with both modern front-end technologies and Java-based back-end development, plus a passion for clean, efficient, and maintainable code.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications across the full stack (front-end and back-end).
• Design, implement, and consume RESTful APIs.
• Build and integrate web services (REST/SOAP).
• Collaborate with UI/UX teams to implement responsive, high-performance user interfaces.
• Write clean, testable code and contribute to unit and integration testing.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement activities.
• Work within CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows (e.g., Jenkins).

Requirements:

Core Skills :

• Good understanding of the design, implementation, and consumption of RESTful APIs.
• Experience in building and integrating web services (REST/SOAP).
• Proficiency in JavaScript, including modern ES6+ features.
• At least 2 years of experience with Java and the Spring Framework.
• Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and modern browser technologies (DOM, CSS performance, cross-browser compatibility).

Front-End Development:

• Hands-on experience with ReactJS and workflows such as Redux.
• Experience with TypeScript and/or JavaScript libraries like jQuery.
• Ability to apply established front-end design patterns.
• Experience working with build tools such as NPM or Webpack.
• Good understanding of UI performance and best practices.

Back-End Development:

• Good understanding of REST API design principles.
• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, or related Spring modules.
• Good debugging and optimization skills for backend components.
• Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks.

General Engineering Skills:

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
• Good understanding of software design patterns.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in web development (front-end, back-end, or full stack).
• Proven experience delivering production-ready applications.
