Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Cartographer. The position is located in Bucharest, Romania. The Cartographer will be responsible for creating and updating maps, conducting topographic surveys, and utilizing Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for data analysis. The role involves using Quantum GIS software, analyzing geographical data, and producing accurate map representations. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with other team members, ensuring data accuracy, and presenting geographical information in a clear and accessible format.

Qualifications

  • Skills in creating and updating maps, including Cartography and Maps
  • Experience with Topographic Surveys and Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
  • Proficient in Quantum GIS software
  • Strong analytical and data visualization skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Geography, Cartography, Geographical Information Science, or related field
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
