Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused
Ticketing Travel Consultant
to join our team. In this role, you will handle ticket reservations, changes, cancellations, and provide travel-related support to clients. The ideal candidate will combine excellent knowledge of airline booking systems with outstanding communication skills to ensure a seamless travel experience for our customers.

Responsibilities


• Process flight bookings, ticket issuance, reissues, and refunds through GDS (Global Distribution System).


• Assist customers with itinerary planning, fare quotations, and travel options.


• Provide accurate and timely travel information regarding schedules, fares, visa requirements, and travel policies.


• Manage and resolve customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat in a professional manner.


• Monitor and follow up on pending reservations and waitlisted segments.


• Ensure all transactions comply with company policies and industry regulations.


• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of airline rules, fare conditions, and promotional offers.

Qualifications


• Minimum 2 years' experience in ticketing and reservations within the travel industry.


• Proficiency in at least one GDS (Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre).


• Strong knowledge of airline fare structures, ticketing rules, and IATA regulations.


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).


• Customer-focused with strong problem-solving abilities.


• Attention to detail and ability to work under time pressure.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic travel industry software.
