Pro iDeal Jobs is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer for our client, a software house founded in 2016 with offices in München and Cluj-Napoca.

Throughout the years they have built scalable infrastructures and products that transform outdated technologies and processes.

About the project

The team is working on generating the training data for the AI products and the purpose of the project is to automate tedious, mindless tasks.

​​​​​​​As part of your daily business, you will:

• Work closely with development teams, external suppliers, and customers to support and implement their requirements for our digital platform.

• Take on responsibility for platform engineering / OPS topics and define their progress with actual goals.

• Identify, research, and implement PoCs for novel technologies that might benefit the digital platform going forward.

• Act as the company-wide expert for all components of the digital platform.

• Be a vital part of the platform engineering / OPS team and further grow your personal skills through self-organization.

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​You should bring:

• +6 years of experience in the role of a Platform Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Automation Engineer, Linux Systems Engineer, or similar

• Strong knowledge of the Linux operating system and 2+ years of work experience with Kubernetes

• Advanced understanding of network routing concepts like BGP

• Understanding of the lifecycle of software products and how they are developed and operated

• Understanding the architecture and design of distributed systems

• Willing to do bi-weekly shifts of on-call-rotation in a stable and low-volume environment (no significant problems in the past months)
