Financial Controller

Responsabilities:

The Financial Controller is responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including financial reporting, closing of financial exercise, budgeting, compliance and internal controls within the organization

Financial Reporting
: prepare and present accurate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Budgeting and Forecasting
: develop and manage the organization's budget, perform financial forecasting and analyse variances to support strategic decision making

Internal Controls
: establish and maintain internal control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial information

Audit Coordination
: serve as the primary contact for external auditors, managing the preparation and support during financial audit

Team Management
: supervise accounting staff, providing guidance and professional development to ensure effective performance

Compliance
: ensure compliance with tax legislation and regulations and manage tax planning

Required skills and qualifications

Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field

Experience:
 Extensive experience in accounting, finance roles with a strong understanding of financial reporting and compliance

Analytical Skills:
 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret financial data and make informed decisions

Technical Proficiency
in accounting software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, along with advanced Excel skills

Leadership Abilities:
excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage teams and collaborate with other departments

Languages
: Good written and spoken skills in German and/or English, Romanian and Hungarian language
