The Buyer Intern plays a key role in supporting the Supply Chain organization by ensuring accurate and timely processing of purchase orders within the company's ERP system. This role is essential for maintaining smooth procurement operations, monitoring supplier performance, and keeping internal partners informed on order status. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Accurately enter and release customer purchase orders in the ERP system, following established procedures for different procurement types (standard, project-based, back-to-back).
  • Ensure compliance with international trade agreements and delegation of authority requirements for each order.
  • Verify accuracy of supplier information (pricing, quantity, delivery, product details) and record it correctly in the ERP system.
  • Confirm order registrations and regularly follow up on missing confirmations or delayed orders, expediting when necessary.
  • Register deliveries in the ERP system for both internal and external customers.
  • Maintain communication with manufacturing plants to ensure goods are delivered on time and in the correct quantities.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and provide updates on delays or issues as they arise.
  • Submit specifications and required documentation to the documentation department, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Update databases and order-related information under your responsibility.
  • Clarify and resolve discrepancies related to supplier invoices.
  • Maintain up-to-date reporting in the DP generator system.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the direct manager or leadership in line with role responsibilities.

  • Previous internship or project experience in supply chain, logistics, or procurement (a plus, not required).
