Cyber Security Manager
for one of our clients located in Bucharest.

In this role, you will drive the development and implementation of the cybersecurity strategy, manage key security resources, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives. You will act as a leader, mentor, and trusted advisor — enabling the business to innovate securely while reducing organizational risk.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Cyber Security team, including financial, operational, and people resources.
  • Ensure timely resolution of security requests and incidents, acting as the first escalation point.
  • Drive compliance with internal security policies, standards, and external regulations (ISO 27001, etc.).
  • Oversee audit findings and ensure closure within agreed timelines.
  • Provide coaching, performance management, and professional development for team members.
  • Represent Cyber Security in governance forums, presenting progress, risks, and blockers.
  • Monitor risk registers and ensure accurate reporting and mitigation strategies.
  • Align security deliverables with internal and external stakeholder commitments

What you bring

  • University degree in IT/Telecom, Technical
  • 5+ years
    of professional experience in IT/Telecom, with at least 3 years in people management.
  • Strong knowledge of risk management, security frameworks, and IT infrastructure.
  • Hands-on understanding of Windows/Linux, databases (DBMS), and network principles.
  • Experience in applying ISO 27001 and other relevant standards.
  • Industry certifications (e.g.
    CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CCNA
    ) are a strong plus.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
