A Snapshot of Your Day
You will represent Voith Hydro as a technical expert in automation systems for hydropower plants. Your daily work will combine engineering with customer interaction, covering programming, testing, installation, and maintenance of automation systems. You will also play a key role in managing client relationships and supporting portfolio development across Romania.

How You'll Make An Impact

• Program and test control equipment and systems used in hydropower plants (PLC, HMI, SCADA, DCS).
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automation equipment at client locations.
• Lead installation and commissioning activities for automation systems at hydropower sites across Romania.
• Act as a technical representative for service activities related to automation systems in Voith Hydro's portfolio.
• Support and manage the existing client portfolio for automation systems, ensuring high satisfaction and long-term relationships.
• Actively contribute to identifying new clients and expanding the portfolio
• Collaborate with the production and engineering teams to optimize technological processes.
• Provide technical input to the sales and proposal teams for solution design, cost estimation, and offer preparation.
• Ensure clear and consistent communication with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored, technically sound solutions.
• Document all activities and technical interventions according to Voith Hydro quality and safety standards.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Previous experience in automation systems, preferably within the hydropower or industrial automation sector.
• Knowledge of PLC programming (Siemens S7/PCS7, Codesys) and familiarity with DCS systems.
• Competence in CAD tools (EPLAN, ECSCAD, Solid Edge) and industrial communication protocols.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to work in international teams.
• Proactive mindset and customer-oriented attitude.
