About the role

We are seeking a Full Stack Developer experienced in Python, Java and React to join one of our teams and to contribute to the design and development of scalable trading and data streaming solutions in the energy domain.

The role involves enhancing existing systems, implementing new trading strategies, and building interfaces that support real-time data and automated decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable architecture concepts for automated trading and data interfaces.
  • Develop and integrate automated services between internal systems using a programmatic interface layer.
  • Build and maintain streaming services for real-time market data consumption.
  • Stabilize and extend existing algorithmic trading components.
  • Implement new execution strategies for power and gas trading (e.g., spread trading, hedging automation).
  • Enhance front-end interfaces to support live data streaming, higher customization, and additional trading strategies.
  • Evaluate and apply suitable streaming and integration technologies.
  • Collaborate closely with product and trading teams to align on requirements and new use cases.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Python, Java, and React
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration
  • Strong knowledge of MySQL and PostgreSQL databases
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services

Nice-to-have

  • Exposure to AWS cloud environment
  • Familiarity with Kafka or similar streaming frameworks
