By joining our project, you will be working on an initiative of the European Commission focused on creating a more efficient, modern and secure customs environment within the European Union. Being part of this initiative set on a 5 years' timeline, you will have the opportunity to work on topics such as digitalization of customs processes, streamlining customs procedures to facilitate trade and reduce costs, harmonization of customs rules across all EU member states and combating fraud.

What you'll be doing
- Extracting, cleaning, and analyzing data from various sources to produce meaningful reports.
- Designing and maintaining dashboards and reporting tools to monitor business metrics and KPIs.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver tailored insights.
- Performing trend analyses and developing forecasts to support strategic planning and operational efficiency.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement through data-driven workflow analysis.
- Validating the accuracy and completeness of reports, ensuring data integrity at all times.
- Providing ad hoc analyses to support time-sensitive business decisions.
- Training and supporting team members in using reporting tools and interpreting data outputs.
- Staying current with new data analysis tools, techniques, and best practices.
- Applying AI technologies to automate reporting processes and enhance analytical capabilities.
What you'll bring along
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience as a Reporting Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role.
- Hands-on experience with AI tools and techniques for automating reporting and data analysis.
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Advanced SQL skills for querying and manipulating data from relational databases.
- Expertise in Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and quality.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis and automation.
- Experience with ETL processes or managing data pipelines.
- Knowledge of CRM, ERP, or financial systems such as Salesforce or SAP.
- Exposure to statistical analysis and forecasting techniques.
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English.
