2D Game Artist Texturing Artist

We're currently on the lookout for 2D Texturing Artists—artists with a strong eye for stylization and hand-painted techniques, who can create color-only textures to be applied to 3D models. This specific production features a stylized, hand-painted aesthetic, and we're on the lookout for artists who are comfortable blending procedural tools with hand-painted techniques—ideally someone confident doing both.

Role responsibilities:

• Create high-quality hand-painted and stylized textures for characters, props, and environments.
• Apply and adapt 2D textures to existing 3D models using a stylized visual approach.
• Adapt to various art directions and different project styles.
• Address creative and technical issues as they arise.
• Work closely with your Team and the Art Director.
• Participate in artistic validation sessions to ensure high quality.
• Respect deadlines established with the Production department.
• Participate actively in Team and department meetings.

Requirements

• Excellent knowledge of Photoshop.
• Knowledge of 3Ds Max and Substance Painter/Designer
• Strong understanding of stylized art, hand-painted textures, and color theory.
• Comfort with procedural workflows but capable of manual painting when needed.
• Knowledge of game art production pipelines.
• Adaptability to different project styles.
• Good knowledge of artistic culture (games, cinema, traditional art etc.).
• Autonomy, resourcefulness, and good organizational and time management skills.
