The Operations Director role is a senior leadership role based in our Cluj-Napoca Office. You are passionate about process improvement and operational efficiency. You are constantly searching for improvements, fixing issues and problem-solving. The role would include:
- Represent all operational teams at the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) level
- Ensure we are hiring and training the right people in all operational teams
- Provide leadership support to direct reports and ensure they are delivering against their OKRs
- Manage all company-wide transition/ change plans/ certifications/ audits
- Help set and monitor the operational team's OKRs.
- Improve the business OKRs through process adjustments, based on analysis and collaboration with other departments.
- Manage all operational team budgets and capacity plans.
- Ensure there is high visibility of the work being done inside operations to the rest of the business

- Set and own the strategic direction for operations throughout the business
- Support the hiring of A player talent through
- Define a strong culture that ensures that your team is happy in their roles and employee retention is high, evidenced by a >4.5/5 rating from your department in your first year.
- Ensure everyone in your department is always learning with consistent use of retrospectives, general and targeted employee training.
- Maintain solid, transparent CxO and cross-departmental relationships, evidenced by a >4/5 rating from all other departments in your first year.
On a day-to-day basis, you will:
- Look at our OKRs to work out which ones are the most important
- Work out the root problem for us not being where we want to be
- Lead project management/ change management
- Deep dive with team
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of experience in operations/ process/ project management
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a senior leadership position
- Experience managing remote teams
- Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills
- Experience in managing budgets and business planning
- Experience in identifying and nurturing potential leaders
