ETL Developer

ETL Developer Hybrid working model: 2 days/week on-site (Bucharest) Contract type: B2B Purpose of the Role: Design, enhance, and support data integration solutions used inregulatory-driven banking systemsDevelop ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter and PL/SQL within complex data environmentsContribute to Agile-based delivery teams working on regulatory and compliance-related initiatives Core Development Responsibilities: Customize and update existing functionalities based on evolvingbusiness needsReview, refine, and optimize ETL code to comply with functional, performance, and security requirementsActively participate in all stages of the development lifecycle, including: Technical analysis, impact assessments, and solution design Effort estimation, planning, and documentation Development, unit testing, and implementationDeployment across multiple environments (DEV, INT, UAT, PROD) Functional support during user acceptance testingCollaborate closely with internal and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project executionRequired Experience & Skills: 3–5+ years of professional experience working with Informatica PowerCenter (mid to senior level)Strong hands-on experience with Oracle databases (10g, 11g, 12c) and PL/SQL development Working knowledge of Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting Experience using enterprise scheduling tools such as Control-MSolid understanding of software development and IT project lifecycles Proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantageUniversity degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical discipline Technical Requirements: Informatica PowerCenter / ETL development PL/SQL Unix / Linux Shell scripting Job scheduling tools (e.g. Control-M) Optional skills: Mainframe technologies COBOL.
