You will be part of a dynamic team that develops applications for personal finance business flows

The role involves migrating the application from Java EE to Java 17 & Spring Boot, making you an expert in modernizing legacy systems using CI/CD to accelerate software development lifecycles. Additionally, you should have an interest in DevOps topics as you will support other teams in implementing/migrating CI/CD practices

Key Responsibilities
  • Acting as a link between Developers and DevOps, supporting other teams in implementing/migrating CI/CD practices
  • Migrating legacy services from J2EE to Spring Boot with the aim of utilizing the new CI/CD used by the organization
  • Collaborating with the Software Engineering Manager to define the development strategy and providing robust and reliable estimation for work packages to develop (cost, schedule) and assessing technical risks
  • Developing and unit testing Java-based software components
  • Participating in peer and engineering reviews
  • Participating in higher-level testing (integration, verification, validation)
  • Coordinating and debugging the resolution of technical issues and analyzing root cause of problems
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience with Java (8+)
  • Deep understanding of object-oriented programming
  • Knowledge of software engineering fundamentals and best practices, including object-orientation, SOLID principles, design patterns, unit testing/mocks, continuous integration, code versioning (Git), API REST and SOAP API
  • Thorough knowledge of Spring ecosystem (Sprint Boot, Spring Batch, Spring Security, Spring Data)
  • Knowledge of J2EE, JPA (Hibernate), Maven, DB / SQL
  • Experience on Elastic Search
  • Ability to follow Clean code standards using SonarQube and resolve Vulnerabilities using IQ Nexus
  • Skills in React and OR Angular
  • Experience with Containers (Docker, Kubernetes), Cloud technologies, Linux
