VMware Expert

We are seeking an experienced expert to support an RFP process focused on consolidating and optimizing the VMware environment.

The selected professional will assist in analyzing the current virtual infrastructure and contribute to the preparation and execution of the RFP documentation, aiming to reduce complexity and operating costs.

• Analyze the current VMware environment and identify opportunities for consolidation and reduction.
• Support the documentation and preparation of an RFP (Request for Proposal) process within SAP Ariba.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define scope, technical requirements, and cost-saving targets.
• Assist in vendor evaluation and selection in line with project goals and compliance standards.
• Provide recommendations on modernizing or phasing out underutilized infrastructure.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in VMware infrastructure analysis and consolidation.
• Previous involvement in RFP processes, ideally within SAP Ariba.
• Strong understanding of virtualization, infrastructure cost modeling, and optimization strategies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Familiarity with enterprise IT procurement processes.
