Procurement Strategist

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Strategist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for delivering value-added sourcing services to clients in a structured, professional and consistent manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure optimal use of sourcing capabilities.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal, client and supplier stakeholders.
• Support market tenders and manage evaluation across cross-functional teams to determine supplier selection.
• Negotiate deals to achieve commercial, specification, compliance and contractual outcomes.
• Draft contracts based on standard terms and conditions.
• Adhere to corporate standards, including using defined sourcing tools and processes in delivery of sourcing initiatives.
• Ensure functional KPIs, SLAs and performance objectives are met, including savings targets.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher.
• Proven experience in procurement or related field with good understanding of sourcing process challenges, requirements and processes.
• Very good fluency in English and French (written and verbal).
• Knowledge and application of relevant services models and understanding of outsourcing types.
• Experience with contracts and ability in contract drafting.
• Client focus within corporate environment with gravitas to influence stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results.
• Professional team player - committed, motivated and flexible.
• Advanced user in Microsoft Office suite.
