Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Enterprise Data Architect to lead the discovery, design and implementation of data architectures and pipelines in Microsoft Fabric. This role is responsible for ensuring data systems and structures are purpose-built for scalable, secure, and high-quality use.

  • Lead the development of data architecture and pipeline designs to support business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and prepare complex internal/external data sources for readiness in AI workflows and models.
  • Partner with cloud engineering and business teams to design and deploy systematic, scalable data models and data products using Microsoft Azure Data Services, Power BI, OneLake, and Data Factory.
  • Establish data ingestion and transformation processes that support both operational needs and sophisticated AI/ML inferencing at scale.
  • Provide expertise in creating and enforcing data quality, cataloguing, lineage, and governance processes with Microsoft Purview to ensure compliance, privacy, and trust in data readiness for AI usage.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer) preferred.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in architecting, building, and maintaining enterprise data solutions in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric.
  • Demonstrated success in preparing data environments for AI/ML and advanced analytics use cases.
