Job Title: Cloud Engineering Manager

Job Description

The role of the cloud engineering manager involves leading a team of engineers to design, develop and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and applications. The manager is responsible for ensuring that the cloud-based systems are secure, scalable, efficient, and meet the required service levels.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing cloud computing strategies
  • Leading teams of engineers to design, develop and deploy cloud-based applications and infrastructure
  • Ensuring that cloud-based systems are secure, scalable and meet required service levels
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication
  • Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in cloud computing and ensuring that the organization's cloud strategy is aligned with these developments
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful as a cloud engineering manager, you will need to have:

  • Extensive experience in designing, developing and deploying cloud-based applications and infrastructure
  • Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms, including AWS and Azure
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools, such as Jenkins, Docker and Kubernetes
  • Strong leadership and management skills, including ability to lead and motivate teams
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
