Key Tasks:

  • Gathers and examines information from project documents.
  • Completes 3D models of building elements as per contract drawings.
  • Connects structural elements as per contract drawings and engineering specifications.
  • Reports discrepancies and missing information on the contract documents.
  • Detects possible interferences between structural and architectural building parts.
  • Completes 2D shop drawings of construction elements generated from 3D models.
  • Completes 2D erection layouts generated from 3D models.
  • Generates material lists as required.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A technical diploma.
  • The ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, specifications and job specifications.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • CAD software knowledge.
  • Mid to advanced knowledge of Tekla Structures or SDS2 software.
  • Good English language skills.
  • Good learning and communication skills.
