Senior QA Engineer

The Role
We are seeking a meticulous and user-focused QA Engineer to be the champion of quality on our team. You will be responsible for ensuring that every aspect of our platform is robust, reliable, and bug-free.

A Note on Content: Please note that our platform handles adult themes and NSFW content. As a QA engineer, you will be testing features and content flows that handle adult subject matter. Candidates must be comfortable and professional in this environment.

1. Own Quality: Develop, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases (both manual and automated) to ensure the quality of our backend services, APIs, and overall platform.
2. Test Everything: Perform thorough testing, including functional, integration, regression, performance, and security testing.
3. Validate the AI: Design and run tests specifically for our AI companions, assessing conversational quality, persona consistency, and the successful integration of LLMs.
4. Automate: Build and maintain our test automation frameworks to increase efficiency and test coverage, particularly for our backend APIs.
5. Bug Hunter: Identify, document, and track defects with precision, working closely with developers to see them through to resolution.

Who You Are
● Experienced QA Professional: You have 3-5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, with a strong background in testing backend systems and complex applications.

● Automation Expert: You have hands-on experience with test automation frameworks for backend services (e.g., Pytest, Postman, REST Assured).

● API Tester: You are highly proficient in testing RESTful APIs and understand the intricacies of client-server communication.

● Detail-Oriented: You have a keen eye for detail and a passion for finding and fixing issues to improve the user experience.

● Great Communicator: You can clearly and concisely report bugs, communicate test results, and collaborate effectively with a cross-functional team.

● Problem Solver: You are a critical thinker who can analyze complex systems and identify potential quality issues proactively.

● Experience testing AI/ML or LLM-based applications.

● Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Locust).

● Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins).

● Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker.

● Experience with security testing principles.
