About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and skilled technician with an electrical or mechanical background to join our Global Operational Resource Support team. As a Blade Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and improving our wind turbine technology, working closely with our team to ensure the highest level of performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safe Working Practices: Conduct all work with a focus on safety, promoting and demonstrating safe behavior and practices at all times.
• Maintenance and Repair: Perform mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical component maintenance, repair, or replacement of parts to correct malfunctions, ensuring the clean and tidy condition of the turbine after job completion.
• Documentation and Reporting: Fill out work orders and checklists, confirming completed orders and proposing optimization of processes.
• Tool and Spare Parts Management: Check tools and spare parts for accuracy, operational capability, and completeness prior to starting work, and ensure the equipment of vehicles with tools, personal protective equipment, and spare parts.
• Material Return: Ensure on-time return of unused and defective materials and tools with correct declaration and packaging.

Requirements:

• Technical Training: Completed technical training in the field of electro-technology or mechanics.
• Professional Experience: At least 2 years of professional experience in a related field.
• Language Skills: Good knowledge of written and spoken English.
• Software Skills: Basic knowledge of working with MS-Office.
• Driving License: Driving license in class CE/BE.
• Certification: Valid Rope Access (IRATA) certification is beneficial.
