Join our team as an E&I Lead and play a key role in the delivery of a Field Support Vessel (FSV) on a Greenfield Offshore Project.

The Role:
  • The E&I Lead will provide expertise in electrical, instrumentation, and control systems engineering/design to support the FSV delivery and other delivery teams as required.
  • Oversee the delivery of a newbuild field support vessel that meets technical and operational requirements.
  • Lead a team with a strong background in electrical, instrumentation, and control systems, as well as project management, commercial acumen, and maritime industry standards.
  • Monitor project activities and interface with other project personnel to ensure a complete understanding of each area of the FSV delivery.
  • Regularly visit shipyards and equipment manufacturing sites in Norway and Poland.
Requirements:
  • A recognized university degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in a similar role, preferably 5-8 years with an oil & gas operating company.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Vessel main, emergency, and UPS power generation.
  • Station keeping / DP systems.
  • Marine systems (radar, collision systems, positioning, gyro, wind and weather monitoring, excursion, etc).
  • Safety and security systems (PA/GSA, beacon, CCTV, etc).
  • Radio systems.
  • Onboard systems (internet, entertainment, telephony, etc).
  • HVAC.
  • Design of ships and/or floating drilling and production installations.
  • Management principles for engineering, construction, and commissioning.
  • Track record in delivering new build vessels.
