The client is a world-leading provider of telecommunication solutions to mobile & fixed network operators. GlobalLogic has a long and very successful partnership with this Company started back in 2002.

GlobalLogic is building a team that will be responsible for a specific area - maintenance of products that are utilized by major US telecom operators.

Requirements:

At least 4 years of hands-on experience:

  • Strong technical QA experience
  • Unix Shell scripting
  • Command line
  • Basic table manipulation. Proficiency in SQL
  • Testing in a Waterfall environment
  • Excellent skills in defining, documenting, and analyzing test strategy, test plan, test cases, and test results
  • Excellent test case execution and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work well across teams
  • Strong analytical skills understand business processes and issues from business users
  • Proficient in clientserver applications.
  • Familiarity with working and configuring 3rd party software, understanding of J2EE.
Test Automation experience and experience in creating automated tests will be a plus.
Telecom Domain will be a plus.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge acquisition: learn assigned product to smallest details, become a good expert in the product
  • Product test is responsible for providing an independent evaluation of the quality of the system, both software and documentation.
  • Create, execute & review software test plans, test cases, and reports, as necessary.
  • Product Test administration, maintenance, and support; oversee test case execution remains on plan; resolve defect roadblocks.
  • Create defect reports, create an execution plan
  • Perform system testing, regression testing
  • Work closely with the Dev team and other stakeholders to understand the project goals and requirements.
  • Basic table manipulation. Some proficiency in SQL
  • Understand & test complex & integrated systems
