Junior Sales

Job description:
As a Sales & Proposal junior engineer you are responsible for the preparation of commercial and technical proposals within the DMT Sales & Proposals department
You will work in a multi-disciplinary team under the guidance of a senior engineer in the offering process for the queries and bid requests received by DMT sales teams and assigned by the head of department
You will manage the bid requests throughout entire internal process, from assignation until transfer of contracted project to the Project Management department
You will schedule and attend meetings with Clients, Subcontractors, Suppliers, travel/take part to different events You will maintain and expand relationships with directly assigned clients
 
Job activities:

Evaluation of bid requirements and preparation of proposals and offers in line with customer expectations together with other departments
Ensure that customer requirements are translated into a workable, well-balanced and optimized design and/or support solution.
Registration of information in the internal ERP software according the DMT internal procedures
Schedule and hold meetings, commercial and/or technical, monitor deadlines and collect information from all departments involved in the bidding process
Communicates directly with existing and new subcontractors, suppliers, for specific bids or requirements
Maintains direct contact with project management team, being actively involved in the financial result of the project
Verification of pre-contractual compliance before signing of a new contract

 
Required:

Shipbuilding or Mechanical Engineering bachelor degree
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English is a must
Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, Outlook - advanced
Skills with online meeting software
Organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy
Commercial knowledge represents an advantage
