Position Objective
The Procurement Analyst creates market, supplier and spend reports through research and systematic analysis. He/she is responsible with data analysis, reporting and tactical purchasing for core commodities within Procurement Dept. Reports directly to the Procurement Manager and works collaboratively with him to support the development and implementation of the commodity strategy and Procurement activities. Manages tasks under the supervision and guidance of the Procurement Manager.
Additionally he/she will provide assistance to LeasePlan’s internal clients (Operations, Sales, Finance, etc) for the above mentioned areas.  
 
Primary Responsibilities 


Research commodity, supplier and market from internal and external data, identify the right sources of information and set up channels to transfer knowledge to the appropriate stakeholders.


Collect data, conduct analysis and create report on internal factors such as spend, volumes and requirements of customers, drivers and internal stakeholders.


Collect data, conduct analysis and create reports on external factors such as industry and market dynamics, supplier landscape and product/service trends.


Manages the statistical analysis from different databases (TCO per car type, services usage, etc). 


Manage the calculation of contractual indicators (no. of clients complaints, invoice accuracy, delivery terms etc) on different products and/or services delivery (Fuel, Rental, Road Assistance, Call Center etc).


Support the Procurement Manager in tender preparation (supplier financial check, gathering information, SLA and KPI’s setting etc).


Prepare and manage reports for LeasePlan entities (. LeasePlan Supply Services monthly report per commodity).


Prepare reports (monthly or on demand) related to Operations Dept. activities for local Management (. actual vs. budgeted cost per service per client/fleet) and propose potential corrective measures.


Manages properly and efficiently core business contracts database together with the Procurement Manager 


Participates in company projects assigned by direct superior.

It is First Line Risk in the Know your Supplier process.
Administer the process of Bonus Accrual and Bonus collection

 
Qualifications and requirements

Education:


Bachelor degree in Business Administration or Technical education with further education in economics



Experience:


3-5  years industry experience (automotive/leasing or administrative field (preferable)


0-3 years of experience in Procurement and Supply Chain Management

Advanced user of MS Excel, database knowledge is an advantage


Supplier Relationship Systems knowledge is an advantage
