Your Impact

 

As a Finance Manager, you will apply advanced subject matter knowledge to lead a team of exempt individual contributors and supervisors, influencing strategic decision-making within a limited scope. Your impact will be crucial in managing complex financial analysis for a global sub-business or finance function. You will proactively identify opportunities for process improvement, ensuring compliance with legal and accounting requirements. This role provides the opportunity to influence multiple organizations within a broad scope, driving standard business and finance process initiatives.

 

What the Role Offers

 

- Leadership & Team Management: Manage a team of exempt individual contributors and supervisors supporting a moderately complex business unit. Lead the hiring process, set and monitor annual performance plans, provide coaching, and support career development.

- Financial Analysis Expertise: Lead moderate to complex financial analysis, leveraging a deep understanding of the business to determine the best methods for achieving objectives.

- Strategic Consultation: Consult with business leaders to guide and influence strategic decision-making within the defined scope of responsibility.

- Process Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and policy development, actively engaging in the design and implementation of changes.

- Global Collaboration: Collaborate with contributors globally and across functions to deliver financial solutions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.

 

What It Takes to Succeed

 

- Education & Experience: First-level university degree with a focus on business or economics; advanced degree and/or accounting certification (e.g., CPA, MBA) preferred. Typically, 7+ years of experience in a finance function, with at least 3 years of supervisory or project team leadership experience.

- Financial Acumen: Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis, with the ability to lead moderate and complex accounting and financial analysis initiatives.

- Management Skills: Good people management skills, including managing teams across geographies, and excellent communication skills.

- Project Management: Good project management skills, demonstrating the ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

- Business Knowledge: Strong business acumen and a good understanding of the company's policies and processes.
