Senior Industrial Engineer

You will do your job directly from our local premises from Ghimbav and you’ll technically report to our Industrial Engineering team from the Headquarter.
     Requirements:

Technical university degree;
Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role, preferably in the automotive field;
Good technical knowledge and experience are expected in: industrial engineering, layout, machine capacities and industrialization field;
Understanding of production processes: conception and planning of processes and procedures, analyzing performance tests, planning of layout and material / information flows;
MTM-UAS assembly and other modules are an advantage;
Basic knowledge of lean manufacturing and Lean-6Sigma;
Experience in continuous improvement is an advantage;
Professional and communicative business manner: confident with customer interactions, presentations, and discussions;
Strong interpersonal, prioritization, and planning skills;
Advanced communication skills in English;
Structured and analytical approach;
Quick learner, available to work under pressure and independently;
Intercultural competence;
Global thinking and acting.

       Responsibilities:

Collaborating in project acquisition process  & planning of new projects;
Designing the production concept;
Designing  and optimizing plant layout, material, and information flows;
Identifying and eliminating waste in production;
Collaborating in feasibility studies, FMEA, PLP;
Controlling of short and medium-term machine capacities;
Determining and reporting key production figures;
Carrying out performance tests and topic-related workshops;
Leading role in the industrialization of projects; 
Further development of standards and documents;
Communicating with customers.
