Cad/Catia Product Designer

 Due to our continued growth and commitment to innovation, we are looking for an experienced CAD designer in the automotive sector to join our dynamic team. As a member of our design team, you will work on the development and design of state-of-the-art sealing systems for the automotive industry, further strengthening our position as a leading supplier in this field.

Your tasks:

Creation of CAD models and design drawings mainly  using CATIA. The Independent development of body sealing systems (extrudates and molded corners including the associated purchased parts (such as metal inserts, clips, etc.) as well as overmolding and 2K injection molded parts
Support in the development and optimization of sealing systems and implement technical requirements for various applications in the automotive sector
Creation of CAD models according to the specified design methodology and the management of CAD data in customer-specific systems
Documentation of design processes and results in accordance with internal quality standards
Close cooperation with our national and international customers

 Your profile:

Completed training as a technician or completed Bachelor in the field of automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, the following/comparable disciplines: mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, mechatronics, aerospace technology, plastics technology or a similar technical area
Several years of professional experience in CAD design in CATIA V5 (ideally also Siemens NX) in development projects and/or the automotive sector
In-depth knowledge of relevant design standards and procedures, knowledge in the field of vehicle development desirable

Ability to work independently, strong communication skills and a strong sense of responsibility
Very good written and spoken German and English skills
