Operational indirect procurement

Main topics:


Releasing requisitions (Fiory and Material#) and shoppingcarts (freetext and catalogue items) into P/Os for spareparts and maintenance in SRM/SAP;
Entering and checking order confirmations in the SAP P/O using DCC tool in SAP;
Master data maintenance (mass data upload for new machines/items) in SAP;
Clearing Center – answering questions from different German departments (mainly creators of shopping carts/requisitions or goods income).


Responsibilities:

Identifies potential suppliers for non-production related materials, goods, and services;
Is responsible for the operative purchase of materials, goods, and services which are not related to production (not contained in the bill of materials);
Requests quotations, evaluates the quotations, negotiates purchase prices and delivery conditions, places purchase orders, follows up the deliveries;
Qualifies and develops suppliers in accordance to HARTING requirements;
Involves suppliers in project continuous improvement activities;
Identifies measures to reduce purchase costs, in order to achieve cost objectives.

 
 Requirements:

University degree;
Good verbal and writing communication skills;
Ability to negotiate and establish business relationships;
Analytical spirit, capacity to evaluate facts and figures;
Pro-active person, having the capacity to take important decisions and to deal with ambitious tasks and working under time pressure;
Advanced knowledge of foreign language – English and German;
Experience in purchasing of materials and services within an industrial production company;
Has the ability to understand the content of a contract and to negotiate contracts with suppliers;
PC knowledge: working with MS Office and SAP;
Driving license: category B.
